Homemade gummy snacks

These homemade gummy snacks are one of the easiest swaps you can make. I personally like just making them into squares, but you can also buy molds that make them into fun shapes. Here’s how I made them

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fruit juice of your choice (look for fruit juices with no added sugars or dyes)

  • 2 tbsp gelatin

Method:

  1. Pour your juice into a saucepan and sprinkle your gelatin on top. Allow your gelatin to “bloom” and soak up the juice

  2. Turn your burner on low and heat your mixture just enough to dissolve your gelatin

  3. Transfer your mixture to your dish or your gummy molds (see notes)

  4. Allow to set in your refrigerator for 2 hours before enjoying! I keep mine in the refrigerator

Note: Full disclosure: the gummy molds are difficult to work with and pop the gummies out of without breaking them. I am going to try again with spraying the mold with an avocado oil spray before transferring the gummy mixture and see if this helps. That being said, my kids really love the gummies just as squares. They are just as delicious that way

Let me know if you guys try this one and what you think :)
