Apple Cinnamon Pecan Sourdough Discard Granola

My kids were so obsessed with this granola that it was gone in TWO days😅 here’s how I made it:

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • 1 apple, chopped into small pieces

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 150-200 grams sourdough discard

  • 1T cinnamon

  • 1T ginger

  • Pinch salt

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 300F

  2. Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix

  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread your granola mixture thin.

  4. Bake in your preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes

  5. Allow your mixture to cool before breaking into small pieces with your hands and transferring to an airtight container once cooled all the way. Because of the fresh apple in these, I decided to store in the refrigerator.
